Dar Afia Hospital is a highly complex, multi-use development comprising three basement levels, two floors dedicated to a shopping mall, and nine floors forming a fully integrated hospital. The hospital includes advanced operating rooms, patient wards, medical support facilities, kitchens, and restaurants. The project is further complemented by four additional floors designated as a five-star hotel, creating a sophisticated healthcare and hospitality destination within a single integrated complex
The scope of work included the supply and installation of complete MEP systems, encompassing HVAC, firefighting, water supply, drainage, and electrical works, in addition to specialized hospital systems such as the clock system, nurse call, fire alarm, Building Management System (BMS), kiosk systems, and other advanced medical and operational technologies.
One of the key challenges was the execution of this extensive scope within a high-rise structure, including the installation of approximately 160 electrical panels, over 13,500 meters of cabling, 7,000 lighting fixtures, and 275 bathrooms, all completed within a 12-month timeframe while successfully meeting the project deadline
